Fixed Model

Ive bought a model for the interior of a 1968 corvette, and merged the doors and the interior with my model.

This has given me a much cleaner model with a believable view of the inside, as well as some great textures for the car paint and leather.

After this, I’ve tried to port it into UE5 to see if I can get realistic shaders and reflections out of it. That was my biggest struggle with the pre-vis. I am still struggling…

I began by tweaking a small nordic isle map to use raytracing, and exported the car as an FBX. This gave me control over the rig from the maya project, and kept the structure of some of the shaders. Most of them did have to be hand tweaked though, and automating this would be a great task if I go into real-time.
